A purebred Male/Female American Bulldog puppy which is registered or eligible for registration with the American Bulldog Registry and Archives (ABRA) and the National Kennel Club (NKC).

A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $200.00 is required to hold your PUPPY prior to birth of said PUPPY. Deposits are $400.00 if pups are on the ground.

A PUPPY is defined here to be a ("American Bulldog") puppy which is in good health at the time of sale, and embodies the characteristics of the ("American Bulldog") breed. This PUPPY is purebred and is registered with either one or more of the following registries: American Bulldog Registry &Archives or the National Kennel Club.
The BREEDER guarantees the above described dog to be healthy at the time of the sale. The BREEDER does not assume any liability for any injury to said puppy after delivery. (Coccidiosis, Giarda, Parasites, Kennel Cough, Parasites or any bacteria infection does not render your puppy unhealthy)
The BUYER agrees to have this puppy examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery. If the PUPPY is found to be other than healthy by the BUYER'S veterinarian, it shall be returned to the BREEDER immediately (At buyers expense), and the PUPPY will be replaced with one of the same sex, age, and value as soon as one is available. BREEDER reserves the right to have PUPPY examined by their own veterinarian.
All appropriate shots for the PUPPY's age have been given, and a record of this vaccination history is supplied. The PUPPY has also been wormed by the BREEDER prior to sale.
BASIC MAINTENANCE:
The BUYER agrees to maintain the PUPPY's health in good condition, and to provide yearly examinations, vaccinations, heartworm test, and any other usual procedures necessary to assure good health.
There are many factors that can influence growth and development, such as diet, exercise, weight gain, etc. The BUYER assumes the responsibility to carry on with the appropriate vaccinations, exercise and feeding schedule, as supplied by the BREEDER. MOST PARTICULARLY, the BUYER agrees to keep the puppy slim throughout its normal growth period.
The BUYER agrees to give the puppy proper socialization and the training required to assist the dog in becoming a functional family member and part of society. The breeder will not be held responsible for lack of proper training and or socialization.
The BUYER agrees that neither he/she nor the BUYER'S estate/executors may sell this PUPPY or transfer ownership of this PUPPY without the BREEDER'S knowledge and written consent.
The BUYER hereby agrees that if at any time the BUYER cannot take proper care of the puppy, the BUYER must contact the BREEDER and the BREEDER will have the first choice to either: (a) take the PUPPY back or (b) assist the BUYER in finding a suitable home for the PUPPY. BUYER agrees that they will NEVER bring the PUPPY to a shelter or pound. The BUYER agrees to provide a suitable and secure area for this puppy.
HIP GUARANTEE:
This guarantee does not apply to any PUPPY sold for less than $800.00 unless otherwise specified in writing at the time of purchase. It does not apply to dogs or puppies with limited registrations and/or those sold with spay/neuter agreements. This guarantee applies only to dogs/puppies bred by DTP American Bulldogs and only to the original purchaser of this PUPPY. This guarantee reflects the 8 week value of the animal.
BREEDER does hereby guarantee this puppy to have acceptable hip joint conformation as determined by O.F.A. or Penn-hip. If this dog's hips are rejected for O.F.A. preliminary certification and/or Penn-hip (above .60) at or before (1) one year of age and have not been bred or studded out, BREEDER will replace this dog with another PUPPY of comparable value from our next available litter. Replacement PUPPY will be of the same breed, sex and as the original PUPPY unless otherwise agreed to by both parties. Replacement PUPPY will be provided between eight (8) and sixteen (16) weeks of age. BREEDER is bound by this guarantee if and only if the following conditions are met:
BREEDER must be notified of O.F.A./Penn-hip rejection within thirty (30) days of postmark. O.F.A./Penn-hip rejection and a written statement from the licensed veterinarian who took the X-rays must accompany request.
Original PUPPY must be returned or euthanized by the BUYER and a written statement from a licensed veterinarian indicating that this has been done must be provided to the BREEDER. *(Original puppy may be spayed or neutered and remain with BUYER at the discretion of the BREEDER. Documentation from a licensed veterinarian must be provided to BREEDER.)
Original puppy must not ever have been hit by a vehicle or suffered any other physical trauma, capable of causing lameness of any type, for any duration. Any such trauma will render this guarantee null and void.
Any returned animal must be accompanied by any and all paperwork supplied by the BREEDER at the time of sale, as well as a written statement from a licensed veterinarian indicating the following; a) all shots are and have been kept current, b) Dog has had a negative fecal within thirty (30) days, c) Dog has had a negative heartworm test within thirty (30) days and has been kept on heartworm preventative, d) Dog appears to be healthy and well cared for. If euthanized or neutered/spayed all paperwork is to be returned before puppy is replaced.
BUYER must not be in violation of the "Basic Maintenance Agreement" signed at time of purchase of original puppy, and must sign a new Basic Maintenance agreement on any replacement PUPPY provided at the time of acquisition. In the case of a question, it will be the responsibility of the purchaser to provide documentation showing shot records and other applicable veterinary attention and receipts.
BUYER understands by signing this contract he/she is bound to all above agreements and is aware of the replacement puppy only guarantee, absolutely no cash refunds will be given. All matters of guarantee are handled on a case by case basis.
If Bitch or Dog has been bred all guarantees are null and void.
If the BUYER chooses to result to slander or takes any grievances against DTP AB's to a public forum as a means to have the issue resolved, without first allowing DTP AB's a reasonable amount of time (30-60 days) to research the situation and evaluate the information/documentation provided by the BUYER, then all guarantees can be rendered void at DTP AB's discression.
The BUYER understands that the deposit to hold a puppy is NON-REFUNDABLE unless there are not enough pups in the litter to satisfy your pick. In that case, deposits may be returned or applied to the next available or closest breeding to the one originally planned, at DTP AB’s discression. If you change your mind about getting a pup, or you are unable to fulfill your financial obligation to get the pup once the deposit is paid, it will be forfeit to cover the expenses of food, vaccinations, etc. of the pup during it’s extended stay at DTP AB’s.
